Spanish briar I have had since 2005.

Drilled on lathe and turned the shank so I can put some sort of acrylic band on it

Pipe has four main drips and one little one on the front.

Birdseye is very nice.

Shaping mostly finished. I'll let it sit a few days and then go back for final touches

First sanding is done. That's the hardest one. Red color will be all gone on finished pipe. I stain the smooth area between each sanding because it lets you see any scratches you have missed.

Sanding is finished. Polished and waxed. Rustication, stem and band for shank are all that's left.

Stem materials glued and clamped.

Rusticated and ready for some color.

All finished. Weighs 60 grams and is almost 5 1/2 inches long. Marked Fillenwarth and J1. Turned out really nice. My only complaint is that the J and the 1 don't line up well. Minor but it bugs me.
